Since I graduated and started working in xxxx year x month, I have gradually evolved from a naive student into a competent technician. Through several years of practical work on site, I have developed a set of construction procedures that suit me as well as various projects. Over the past few years, I have been involved in 12 different projects, including a catalytic cracking project with an annual capacity of 1 million tons, an expansion project for an organic silicon production plant with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year, an expansion project for a fertilizer plant producing 100,000 tons of butylzinc alcohol per year, a renovation project to relocate Unit 3 in a refinery, an expansion project for the second distillation unit in a petrochemical subsidiary, a technical upgrade project to increase the ethylene production capacity by 100,000 tons per year in an ethylene plant, a similar technical upgrade project to increase polyethylene production by 150,000 tons per year in another ethylene plant, a technical upgrade project for a catalytic cracking unit with an annual capacity of 1.4 million tons in a refinery, an expansion project for the first distillation unit in a petrochemical subsidiary, and a delayed coking project with an annual capacity of 1 million tons in a refinery. In the aforementioned projects, I was responsible for technical management. I worked diligently and with great care, adhering to scientific management principles and imposing strict requirements on construction quality, which ensured a 100% success rate in initial inspections; several of these projects were recognized as **High-Quality Projects**. From 200x to 200x, I was involved in construction management work on various projects, including the **100,000 tons/year ethylene capacity expansion and technology upgrade project at the Ethylene Plant**, the **150,000 tons/year polyethylene capacity expansion and technology upgrade project at the same plant**, the **1.4 million tons/year catalytic cracking technology upgrade project at the Refinery**, and the **expansion and upgrading project of the distillation unit at the Dalian Petrochemical Branch**. In these projects, I focused on strengthening quality control, cost management, schedule management, and safety management. In terms of quality management, I focus on strengthening the management of the lifelong quality responsibility system, clarifying responsibilities, and emphasizing the use of management responsibility cards as key elements during the construction process. This ensures that the quality of each construction stage meets the required standards. At the same time, greater attention is paid to daily quality control; no further work can proceed until a stage is completed successfully, thereby ensuring that every stage is under proper control. At the same time, efforts were intensified in technical briefings prior to construction commencement, as well as in the preparation of plans and supervision of their implementation. During construction, various standards were strictly followed, process quality control was strengthened, and a quality-based wage system was implemented, with better quality corresponding to higher prices, which helped to promote the creation of high-quality projects. In terms of cost management, accurate cost forecasting is carried out prior to construction, and dynamic monitoring is implemented during the construction process to ensure that project costs remain within an orderly and controllable management framework. In actual construction, large-scale rework on site is prohibited; materials are used efficiently, and existing materials are repurposed to minimize the amount of resources invested in the project. At the same time, equipment management is strengthened through regular inspections and proper maintenance, thereby improving its overall efficiency and ensuring long-term operational reliability. In terms of project schedule management, considering the tight deadlines, heavy workload, and delays in the delivery of materials and equipment that have characterized projects in recent years, I have carefully organized everything to ensure that construction tasks at key stages are completed on time. I have implemented weekly planning to help maintain progress day by day, and week by week. The construction phases should be reasonably divided, and the parallel flow construction method should be employed. In the 1.4 million tons per year catalytic cracking technology upgrade project at Jihua Refinery, as well as the distillation capacity expansion project at Dalian Petrochemical Branch, tight deadlines and a large volume of work required that the projects be completed on schedule. At the beginning of these projects, I recommended that the workers get familiar with the site conditions and increase the level of prefabrication. Both projects were of similar scale: 1,500 instrument valves needed to be installed throughout the facilities, along with 1,200 various types of welded fittings. To reduce the workload during the peak construction period and prevent disruptions to the installation of instruments, I arranged for the pressure gauges, valves, and various connections for the pressure transmission pipelines to be prefabricated in advance during the preparation stage. The pressure transmission pipelines and heat tracing pipelines were laid near the instrument locations, and all the necessary technical preparations were made in advance, thereby creating favorable conditions for subsequent construction work. To strengthen safety management, efforts are made to address the long construction periods throughout the year, the challenging conditions at the construction sites, and the frequent occurrence of simultaneous construction activities. Safety management at these sites is enhanced, and employees’ awareness of self-protection is improved. Safety is given top priority, with comprehensive safety and fire prevention training provided for all staff. Everyone is encouraged to take responsibility for safety and to comply with safety and fire prevention regulations; safety is discussed every day, implemented every day, and checked every day. Over the years of working on construction sites, I have always made use of my strengths with a positive attitude and worked hard. In 2002, rationalization suggestions were put forward during a distillation capacity expansion project at the Dalian Petrochemical Branch, helping to save 200,000 yuan in costs. These suggestions not only reduced the difficulties of construction and improved efficiency but also enabled proper division of the various construction phases under conditions of tight deadlines, heavy workload, and challenging working conditions. This ensured construction quality and created favorable conditions for completing the project ahead of schedule, earning high praise from the client, supervisors, and other stakeholders. The above are the main tasks I have undertaken since starting my career, but there are many other tasks I have been involved in: for example, I have participated in project bidding on numerous occasions, as well as been involved in project cost estimation and settlement work. In all the tasks I have undertaken, I have always fulfilled my duties with diligence, thought critically, and continued to learn new knowledge. I have considered project construction in a comprehensive and holistic manner, thereby successfully completing all the tasks assigned to me by my supervisors. Over the years, I have been recognized by the company as one of the top ten young employees and as an outstanding worker; the papers and suggestions I submitted, as well as the construction technical plans I developed, have been rated as excellent on multiple occasions. In 2003, I took on management responsibilities in the Technical Quality department, and this position marked a new starting point for my career. The role of technical management involves comprehensive technical quality control for various construction projects and ensuring the effective operation of the quality system. It includes the following tasks: organizing the implementation of **, regional, and departmental regulations, standards, and documents related to technical quality ; Responsible for the technical quality management of engineering projects ; Draw on advanced construction methods from the same industry or develop unique ones of our own, and implement them within the company to continuously improve construction methods and enhance management levels ; Carry out technical training in line with the company’s current situation and long-term development plans. Therefore, regarding the work of this department, I have carried out the following tasks: In terms of technical management, kanban management has been implemented. Implementing kanban management is an important measure in our company’s operational management. By adopting kanban management, we establish clear levels of distribution, fully reflecting the principle of distribution according to work – more work leads to more rewards, less work results in fewer rewards, and no work means no rewards – thereby improving efficiency. During implementation, in accordance with the relevant plans and regulations for kanban management, tasks are assigned to teams and work groups following standard procedures. These task sheets specify the construction requirements, the procedures for obtaining and using materials, as well as the amount of payment per workday. The project department checks and verifies the completion of these tasks by the work groups in order to determine the payment amounts. During this period, staff from relevant departments such as the supply department and the technical management department worked together in coordination to ensure that all projects were completed on schedule, with high quality and safely. Over the years, our company has built a solid foundation in technical management and established comprehensive systems. However, I believe that in light of the trend toward younger technical personnel, it is particularly important to enhance the relevance and feasibility of construction plans, as well as the scientific validity and practicality of construction summaries. For each project we have worked on, I have summarized its complete construction characteristics, procedures, and methods. As a technical accumulation, systematic documentation can be compiled by category when necessary. It can guide future construction as well as provide basic information for bidding. For preparing the project documentation, we adopted the method of issuing work instructions, and developed a set of guidelines suitable for compiling completion documents in chemical and refining systems, which facilitates technicians who have just started working in organizing such documents. As a management professional in the Technical Quality Department, I will approach new challenges with great enthusiasm in my future work. I will continue to improve the technical development system, enhance innovation capabilities, and build a competitive advantage based on high standards, sophistication, precision, and cutting-edge technology. I aim to establish a comprehensive and efficient technical development system, as well as a technical management framework that ensures unified management across various projects, implementation at different levels, goal assessment, mutual support, and shared resources.
