Therefore, oil gradually gained an advantage over coal in competition. Coal-to-oil is precisely an important technology that enables coal to surpass oil technologically. If breakthroughs are achieved in coal-to-oil conversion, we believe that CNPC and Sinopec’s attempts to monopolize oil prices will not succeed. Let’s all cheer together! . Note $ # , $ $
I think coal-to-oil technology is a way to address the oil crisis! But with the advancement of technology and the emergence of new energy sources, I believe that oil will soon be rendered obsolete~~
I believe it will be a very long time before oil is phased out! A truly new, large-scale form of energy has not yet appeared!
Oil is not likely to become obsolete in the next 50 years. Don’t worry; in the deep seas, in places like the Arctic, as well as on plateaus and deserts, there are still some oil reserves. Exciting news should come as the survey progresses.
Oil won’t be phased out any time soon, as there is still a great deal of untapped oil reserves. However, coal chemical technology needs to be developed and resources need to be accumulated for it.
In my opinion, within 20 years, the petrochemical industry will still hold a crucial position. Only when coal-to-oil technology proves to be feasible – depending on the successful operation of demonstration projects such as Shenhua and Yankuang – and when large-scale production becomes possible, will coal-to-oil have the capability to compete with the petrochemical industry in 10 years’ time!
It is felt that there should be no competition between oil processing and coal processing; coal-to-oil conversion is a means of extension and supplementation, with an emphasis on improving efficiency.
Coal-to-oil is an emerging industry, but due to issues such as product costs, water consumption, and carbon dioxide emissions, it remains to be seen whether it can develop into a thriving industry.
