For compressor buildings designed for Class A media such as C1, C2, C3, etc., the building size is 30X18m; there are louver screens 800 mm high at the bottom, and natural ventilation openings at the top. What are the mandatory requirements regarding ventilation and fire protection for such buildings as specified in the design codes?

Flammable gas detection and alarm devices shall be installed in workshops with Class A fire hazard. Flammable gas detection and alarm devices shall be installed in the natural gas condensate and liquefied petroleum gas tank areas, as well as in the process equipment areas of natural gas condensate and condensate oil recovery units. Other Class A production facilities located in open areas or under sheds may not be equipped with combustible gas detection and alarm devices.
Article 4.2.24 of the Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises stipulates that the layout of combustible gas compressors and the design of their buildings shall comply with the following requirements: 1. Combustible gas compressors should preferably be installed in open or semi-open type buildings; II. For gas compressor plants of Class A with a single-unit drive power of 150 kW or more, it is not advisable to share the same building with other rooms of Classes A, B, or C ; Above the compressor, Class A, B, and C equipment shall not be installed, except for self-used high-position lubricating oil tanks, which are exempt from this restriction ; III. Ventilation measures shall be implemented at the roof of semi-open or enclosed buildings for compressing flammable gases that are lighter than air ; IV. For the floor slabs of compressor buildings for flammable gases that are lighter than air, grating panels should be used in part ; V. In the floor of compressor rooms for flammable gases that are heavier than air, it is not advisable to have pits or trenches. The factory building should have measures to prevent the accumulation of gases. Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings 10.1.2: Air in Class A and Class B factories shall not be recirculated. The air in Class C workshops containing dusts or fibers with fire or explosion hazards must be purified before being recirculated, and the dust concentration in the air should be kept below 25% of its lower explosive limit. 10.1.3 The supply air and exhaust air equipment used in Class A and Class B factories shall not be located in the same ventilation room, and the exhaust air equipment shall not be placed in the same ventilation room as the supply and exhaust air equipment of other rooms. According to HG/T 20673-2005 \"Code for Design of Compressor Building Structures\", ventilation: 1. For enclosed buildings that emit toxic gases, the number of air changes per hour inside such buildings shall be calculated in accordance with the relevant health standards. 2. The concentration of toxic substances in the air of the factory building shall not exceed the limits specified in the current **standard, the “Health Standards for Industrial Enterprise Design” (GBZ 1). Fire protection: 1. The fire resistance rating of the compressor building should not be lower than grade II. 2. The pressure relief areas should be arranged evenly, preferably near the source of explosion hazards, and away from main roads and areas with dense populations. 3. Offices, rest rooms, laboratories, etc., shall not be located in the compressor workshops of Class A and Class B. If it is necessary to be adjacent to the factory building, structures with fire resistance ratings of grade 1 or 2 should be used, and they should be separated by a non-combustible partition wall with a fire resistance limit of not less than 3 hours. Access to the factory building shall be provided through corridors or vestibules, and safety exits leading directly to the outside or to evacuation stairs shall be installed. 4. Chlorine compressors and hydrogen compressors must not be installed in the same building. 5. The high-level oil tank should be installed on outdoor steel supports as much as possible, and must not be placed on the roof trusses of the factory building.
