Our company is a enterprise engaged in the deep processing of coal chemicals; in the washing process, there is a medium called indole acid oil. Indole is present in dilute sulfuric acid at concentrations of 20% to 40%. This substance tends to polymerize and floats in sheets within indoleic acid oil. These sheets of indoleic acid oil can be drawn into threads, and the material remaining in the pump after pumping will solidify into a brittle solid, which can easily damage the mechanical seal. Our company has used both 316L centrifugal pumps and fluorocarbon magnetic pumps, but neither of them has lasted long. Could someone give me some advice?
