The factory where the accident occurred is the production area where the company produces 760,000 tons of natural gas for synthetic ammonia and urea. The device used is the largest single unit of synthetic ammonia and urea in the country. Chongqing Jianfeng Chemical General Plant is a subsidiary of Chongqing Chemical and Pharmaceutical Group, mainly engaged in urea products.
