How useful is the Computer Level 2 Certificate?

Yesterday I took the written exam for the **Level 2 Computer Certification exam. Unfortunately, I got the time of the practical exam wrong, so I failed that part of the exam without any doubt. I’m not sure how useful that certificate will be for those of us studying chemical engineering. Please give me some advice so I can decide whether to take the exam again next time.
It can’t be said to be completely useless; at least one can learn some knowledge by passing the exams. As the saying goes, having a skill is always useful. Since I have nothing to do, I might as well take an exam to make myself more productive. But don’t expect to improve your computer skills by passing level exams. Anyway, studying hard at school is the way of nature. :lol
The value of that exam isn’t very high, to be honest. I heard from students who took the computer-based exam today that they just plugged in a USB drive, and that was it – they got full marks. It’s still a bit sad that I got the date wrong. Otherwise, it’s also over. It’s better to have tried than not to have tried at all. Hehe.

I think the Computer Level 2 exam is quite useful; it’s beneficial at least for finding a job, obtaining professional titles, and improving computer skills. It’s better to have it than not.

If you are taking the exam in C language, it would be better for you to take the level 3 exam directly. The difficulty is about the same. . . If you have strong computer skills, it’s better to take an exam to become a junior programmer.

Computers are something one should take a test on before starting work; after starting work, they’re no longer useful. What’s truly useful are those certification exams, as companies need them to determine their qualifications!

For example, when applying to settle in Shanghai, if you don’t have a master’s degree or higher, then having a Computer Level 2 certificate can help you get extra points in the application process – and those extra points are quite important.
