How is the output of ammonium carbonate generally converted into the output of synthetic ammonia? I heard there are several options: 4.2:1, 4.4:1, and 4.75:1. Which one is more reasonable, please? 2.1 Ammonia consumption per unit of ammonium bicarbonate: The ammonia consumed in the production of ammonium bicarbonate is calculated based on the amount of synthetic ammonia used to produce that quantity of ammonium bicarbonate. 2.1.1 Calculation formula: Ammonia consumption per unit of ammonium bicarbonate (kg/ton) = (Actual production volume of ammonium bicarbonate in tons) × (Total actual ammonia consumption in tons) × 1000. 2.1.2 Sub-item: The total ammonia consumption is determined based on the flow rate of liquid ammonia; alternatively, it can also be calculated by considering the actual nitrogen content of the final ammonium bicarbonate product and using a utilization rate of 96%. Actual total ammonia consumption = ×1.26654. Where: 1.26654 = 1÷(0.82245×96%), with 0.82245 representing the theoretical nitrogen content in ammonia, and 96% representing the utilization rate of ammonia in solid fertilizers and ammonia solutions. 2.1.3 Numerator: The scope of statistics on the actual production volume of ammonium bicarbonate is specified in 1.1.1 of this chapter.
