1. There is currently a 10,000 cubic meter styrene storage tank equipped with a nitrogen seal; the tank is designed to withstand pressures of up to 300 mmaq, while the pressure at which the emergency release valve opens is 150 mmaq. There are also 3 vent valves. Additionally, 5 fire foam pipes are arranged evenly at a distance of 200 mm from the bottom edge of the tank roof. To prevent styrene gas from entering these fire foam pipes, special glass barriers are used at the points where they connect to the tank. May I ask what the pressure resistance requirements are for the glass in this area, and are there any design specifications?
I once found on the internet that the glass thickness of the foam generator in oil tanks should not exceed 3 millimeters, but it seems there are no regulations or standards regarding this.
