1. A gear pump is used, with a displacement of 75 L/min; it has 125/90 cylinders. There is a return flow throttle, and the directional valve allows a flow rate of 63 L/min. Why, when I open the throttle valves fully, does the cylinder move faster when oil enters the larger chamber rather than the smaller one?
Where are your throttle valves and direction valves located? Generally, a throttle valve is installed in the circuit to control the speed of the cylinder – reducing the value of the circuit’s throttle valve results in less oil returning, thereby slowing down the speed; conversely, a higher value increases the speed.
The throttle valves are all fully open, yet the situation remains the same. Is it possible that even with the throttle valves fully open, there is still some degree of throttling effect?
