Pressure of the distillation tower

What does the operating pressure of a distillation tower refer to? I’m not familiar with this concept. What is the relationship between the top pressure of the tower, the bottom pressure of the tower, and the operating pressure? I would be very grateful if you could give me some guidance. Operating pressure generally refers to the top-pressure value established based on process requirements. By simultaneously monitoring the pressure at the top of the tower and the pressure at the bottom of the tower, it is possible to observe changes in the resistance within the distillation column.

Do you know what the relationship is between the operating pressure of the absorption tower and the pressures at the top and bottom of the tower? Is the operating pressure of the absorption tower the same as the pressure at the top of the tower?
