It can be said that nowadays, petrochemical companies should use gas as fuel, with oil being used very rarely. Just change the burner～
Everything is being modified now; most use gas. Using oil is not only wasteful but also causes scaling issues that require cleaning, making it troublesome to use. Only a few industries that require high temperatures, such as aluminum production, still use heavy oil.
Our plant uses gas produced internally; catalytic and other units generate components with carbon numbers lower than three. The compounds with carbon number three are used for the production of polypropylene, while those with carbon numbers two and one are fed into a dry gas liquefaction and desulfurization unit to recover sulfur. The purified dry gas is then used as fuel for us. If there are fluctuations in the pressure of the fuel gas, we can switch to natural gas; however, natural gas comes at a cost, so using dry gas is a better option
