I would like to ask those who are familiar with cyclone separators in catalytic cracking (for heavy oil catalysis, with parallel reactors and regenerators): 1. For the cyclones used on the cold and hot catalyst tanks, what is the typical amount of catalyst carried per m3? Is there also a qualitative relationship between the air volume of these cyclones and the scale of the installation? 2. What is the typical amount of catalyst carried by the swirl flow in the reactor, in kg/m3? 3. What is the typical amount of catalyst carried by the swirl flow in the regenerator, in kg/m3? 4. What is the approximate particle size distribution of the particles obtained from the above 3 centrifugations? 5. What should the pressure drop in centrifugation be? Additionally: It would be helpful if someone could provide a more detailed explanation of the operation of centrifugation, such as the range of variations in the inlet linear velocity that can be tolerated during actual production, as well as the efficiency of particle removal after centrifugation.
