Comparison Table of Current Ignition and Stable Combustion Technologies for Domestic Coal Powder Boilers
Thread Content
Projects: Plasma ignition, coal powder induction ignition, traditional mechanical atomization small oil gun ignition, gasification small oil gun ignition.Energy consumption: Oil-free; electricity consumption of 250 kW; oil-free; electricity consumption of 300 kW. Production rate: Around 300 kg/h; 10–40 kg/h.
Ignition principle: Plasma ionizes air to generate high heat for igniting coal powder. Induction heating is used to heat the surface of metal tubes, with the high-temperature surface used to ignite the coal powder. The atomized oil mixes with the coal powder to improve its properties, after which it comes into direct contact with the high-temperature flame to ignite the coal powder. Gasification combustion creates a high-temperature flame core, and the coal powder burns in stages within the tube, with energy being amplified step by step to achieve ignition and accelerate coal powder combustion.
Cooling method: Water cooling for the plasma generator, air cooling for the burner; water cooling + air cooling; air cooling; air film cooling.
System composition: High-power special power supply + control system + burner (complex); medium-frequency ignition power supply + control system + burner (complex); burner + control system (simple); burner + control system (simple).
Suitable coal types: Bituminous coal, sub-bituminous coal, lignite; Bituminous coal, sub-bituminous coal, lignite; Bituminous coal, sub-bituminous coal, lignite, low-volatility lean coal, and anthracite.
Advantages and disadvantages: Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly; short cathode lifespan; difficult to ignite coal with low volatility. Lower investment but higher oil consumption. Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, low investment, low operating costs, maintenance-free.
Equipment maintenance: Wear parts have a lifespan of about 30 hours; minimal maintenance required. No wear parts, thus maintenance-free.
Cost-performance ratio: Poor; Fair; High
