For our 4M32-186 model from Shanghai Dalong Compressors, the temperature at the four outlets has risen to 150 degrees Celsius, but the pressure at these outlets remains unchanged. What could be the reason for this? The valves open and close freely without any air leakage.
It’s possible that the inlet temperature has increased, which has led to an increase in the outlet temperature; It is also possible that the outlet temperature is displayed too high.
OP, how did you know that “the four exits and five entrances ensure no air leakage”? Additionally, apart from the reasons mentioned above, it is recommended to check whether there are any issues with the piston rings.
Rule out instrument issues first. Consider the reasons for the inter-stage cooler again.
If the gauge is fine, it’s likely the four-way valve that has a problem.
Upon inspection, it was found that the bolt positioning pin of the five-stage valve had come loose, which caused the bolts to become loose and resulted in gas from the five-stage section sometimes leaking into the four-stage section
The four overheating situations mentioned by the poster are as follows: (1) The cooling effect of the compressor’s three outlet coolers is poor, resulting in a high temperature at the four inlet points. After compression in the four-cylinder engine, the temperature rises significantly; coupled with the poor water-cooling effect of the cylinders, the result is overheating in all four cylinders. (2) Leaking at the four-way valve of the compressor, or damage to a valve disc within the four-way valve, can lead to overheating at the four-way outlet.
