Meters are often affected by the working environment; how can such effects be eliminated?
For example, ambient temperature, pressure, and the state of the contacting material.
Referencing the instrument installation manual and specifications should help mitigate the effects of the working environment. I’ve seen voltage transformers in the field that weren’t insulated; their performance was abnormal in sub-zero temperatures during winter, but it improved once the sun came out
