I would appreciate it if experts could provide information on the use of electric heat tracing (for pipelines)
Pipelines are usually heated using electric heating tapes, also known as heating cables or heat-tracing cables. These can be laid directly on the pipeline, or, if necessary based on calculations, wrapped around it and secured with aluminum tape; insulation can then be applied on top. When electricity is supplied, the heating tapes generate heat, which is transmitted through the wall of the pipeline. I’m not quite sure what you mean by that, huh?
Are you asking where electric heat tracing tapes are used, or how to use them? Electrical heating is generally used in places where strict temperature control is required ； Or in places where the heating medium (hot water or steam) cannot reach ； Or in situations where the medium requirements prohibit the mixing of water or steam with it. How to do it has been explained on the 2nd floor; it’s not very complicated. As a supplementary point, most electric heating tapes these days are of the “self-limiting” type. It has good safety performance.
