Be careful to protect it. All I’ve seen are DELL machines, nothing else.
In harsh environments, industrial PCs can be considered.

We used a Dell one, and it broke in less than a year. Seeing other companies use Lenovo’s products, I just bought one to give it a try. I heard that the central control DCS has replaced Dell with Lenovo.
If the conditions are very harsh, industrial computers can be considered; it is advisable to choose those with anti-corrosion features, or one can carry out anti-corrosion treatment oneself (by spraying the motherboard). If conditions permit, purchasing imported industrial computers such as Siemens models will yield much better results. Based on my experience with Advantech’s industrial PCs, they are not much better than DELL’s commercial PCs. DELL workstations offer a higher quality standard than commercial computers, so they merit consideration first. Personally, I feel that vertical chassis are more reliable than desktop-style ones, as the motherboard being mounted vertically makes it less likely for dust to accumulate compared to a horizontal setup. Larger chassis are also more reliable than smaller ones, mainly because they offer better heat dissipation; too small chassis inevitably lead to excessive concentration of components in one area. Additional note: Instrument air can also be used to provide slight positive pressure ventilation for the control cabinets and operation consoles, which helps prevent corrosion. In the case in question, the components inside the control cabinets were not corroded; only the main unit of the operation station was affected. It is likely that the cabinets in question have already been treated (with anti-corrosion components or through positive pressure ventilation). We also use DELL computers; it’s not as serious as what the original poster said. The computers here have been in use for three to four years, and they’re still in good condition.
