What are the factors that cause a drop in the lubricating oil pressure of a syngas compressor?
Increase in lubricant temperature; Leak in the pipeline circulation system ; Instrument air pressure (control valve) ; Improper mediation ; Excessive resistance in the oil filter ;
1. Pipeline valve issues: blockage, leakage, valve failure; 2. The oil temperature is either too high or too low; when it is too high, expansion occurs which leads to a decrease in density, an increase in viscosity, and thus an increase in resistance ; 3. Causes related to the oil pump: In the case of centrifugal pumps, these can be caused by air in the pump, too low liquid level in the oil tank, worn impellers, or leaks in the mechanical seal. In the case of screw pumps, the problem may arise from an increased gap between the screws or leaks in the mechanical seal ; Pump reflux mistakenly activated ; 4. Leakage in the oil cooler and oil filter; insufficient exhaust gas during the switching process of the oil cooler and oil filter ; Other: The pressure was manually set incorrectly by the control valve.
