What color should the slag and wastewater produced by the furnace be to meet the process standards? Should the color of the slag and that of the water be the same?
Generally, in the roasting of pyrite, the color of the slag and wastewater should be the same； Under normal circumstances, when the slag is roasted at red temperatures, the residual sulfur content in the slag is at its lowest. However, sometimes manufacturers also take into account the cost of the slag; as a result, there is now a requirement for a higher iron content in the slag, which means that the color of the slag becomes brownish-black or even black. In such cases, the residual sulfur content in the slag is higher. These are my personal opinions; please feel free to correct me.
The furnace can’t produce wastewater, right? Is it purified water?
