I was wondering if there is a device that can ensure thorough contact between vapor and liquid, and that also has a jacket for heating. The gas is hydrogen chloride, and the liquid is alcohols.
Is there more gas or more liquid? If there is more gas, the liquid can be sprayed using nozzles at the liquid inlet; if there is more liquid, then the incoming gas is fed into a tower filled with liquid, and an efficient gas distributor is used before the gas comes into contact with the liquid. If heating is required, a heating coil can be installed inside the tower, which provides a better heating effect than jacket heating.
