Insulated jacket ball valves are primarily used in various systems such as those in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and pharmaceutical industries, to transport high-viscosity fluids that would solidify at normal temperatures. The jacket of this series of ball valves is welded between the two flanges of the valve, with connection ports for the jacket provided on the sides and bottom of the valve. Due to the addition of a jacket, the connection flange size of this type of valve is one to two sizes larger than that of a conventional ball valve of the same specification, but its structural length remains the same as that of valves of the same specification.
