When carrying out the vertical design of a site, it is common to encounter retaining walls that are seven or eight meters high. However, the guidelines for vertical design state that in the case of stepped factory buildings, the height difference should not exceed 4 meters. How can this contradiction be resolved?
The retaining wall can be considered a special case. It’s unlikely that factory building designs will encounter situations requiring retaining walls.
