I have a question: what is the inlet pressure for sulfur recovery at your facility? What is the sulfur recovery pressure drop?
The typical inlet pressure for sulfur recovery is around 0.18 to 0.13 MPA; the specific pressure drop depends on the particular process, and it is generally around 1 kilogram (exact value unknown).

We normally maintain the pressure in the acid gas liquid separation tank before it enters the reactor at around 70 kPa; if the load decreases, the pressure also decreases accordingly. The incinerator is equipped with a water-tube waste heat boiler, and the normal operating pressure should be negative. The pressure drop across the entire system, from the combustion furnace to the incinerator, should be between 0.03 and 0.05 MPa.
The level of pressure depends on the system’s load; it varies depending on the scale of the operation, with values ranging from 5 to 50 Kpa being acceptable. It’s meaningless to simply discuss whether the pressure is high or low.
The acidic gas used in sulfur recovery generally comes from acid water stripping and solvent regeneration units. The pressure of the acidic gas in the solvent regeneration units is usually very low, at only 70 kPa; therefore, the pressure in the sulfur production furnaces for sulfur recovery generally does not exceed 50 kPa. If the pressure is too high, the acidic gas cannot flow through. The operating pressure of our units varies depending on the processing load, with a maximum of 42 kPa. The operating pressure of the exhaust gas incineration furnace is usually around 2 kPa.

The so-called pressure for sulfur recovery actually refers to the system’s resistance loss; it is something different from the pressure of the acid gas and the air pressure. The pressure of the acid gas and the air pressure must be sufficient to overcome this system resistance loss. Depending on the process, the system resistance typically ranges from 20 to 40 KPA.
The device is equipped with a sulfur seal tank; wouldn’t such a tank need to be very large when the pressure is high?

The purpose of installing a sulfur seal tank is to prevent the leakage of process gas; the maximum pressure of the process gas should correspond to the maximum pressure at the fan outlet. The height of the sulfur seal tank, which is approximately m×1.7, should be higher than this maximum pressure at the fan outlet.
