The entire oil content of the DN500 pipeline is close to 1,000 cubic meters. ； After the light oil delivery line delivers a batch of oil, how to ensure the quality of the next batch of oil and not mix it to affect the quality of the oil? Although I am not from a refinery, I often pick up ships on site. I understand there are generally two ways. For example, first deliver 90# gasoline, turn on the pump, and then find someone in the oil depot to go to the oil-loading flange at the dock to check. If oil comes out, stop the pump, which means the pipeline is full, and measure the front gauge. Then oil your hair, and then measure your hair after it's done. The pipeline is still full at this time. Use fire water to push the oil back. After it has settled, cut off the water below in the tank. Or use air to push the oil back.
Is this really the case? I think there should be a procedure for removing oil from hair. Using air to top off hair oil would be a good idea.

I think operating procedures should also be used! I think we should not use water jacking, but should directly use air jacking. If the water in the pipeline is not cut cleanly, it will affect the oil quality!
Air caps are easy to oxidize, so it is better to use water caps, which are also more convenient for cutting water.
I have never heard of using air to top oil, usually water top is used!
