Dear Chief Moderator and moderators of various sections: Hello! It is because of you that HaiChuan exists, and it provides a platform for intellectuals in the chemical industry to continue their in-depth studies and exchanges. Logically, I have no right to comment on matters here, but I hope that HaiChuan can achieve better development, become the leading forum in China’s chemical industry, and remain strong forever. However, it is truly difficult to accomplish this. As long as we work together with unity and wisdom, I believe nothing is impossible.My first suggestion is that the moderators, before making any major decisions that affect HaiChuan, should set up a vote or a prominent discussion thread to hear the opinions of ordinary people. The eyes of the people are the sharpest! It is only by making decisions from the perspective of the majority that one can act most wisely. Downgrading is no longer possible, as charm cannot be converted into wealth under normal circumstances. Red envelopes are originally intended for new members, created to reduce the difficulty they face. Once one reaches the 5th grade, the significance of upgrading restrictions on the forum diminishes; if one wants to upgrade for other reasons, relying on red envelopes isn’t the way to go. Helping others and earning their support and ratings is the proper approach.
Since this is addressed to all moderators, I’d like to share my thoughts. First of all, thank you for your valuable suggestions. Your post contains two parts, and the reply from the moderator was related to that particular post. The moderator also left comments in your original post. I believe the management has already taken into consideration some of the issues you raised. Managing a forum is a process, not just a result. Secondly, HaiChuan has a great tradition of **. And this “Forum Affairs Discussion Area” was created specifically to hear the opinions of ordinary forum members. You may have noticed as well that there is a management office dedicated to discussions among the management team; ordinary members might not be able to see what’s inside it. But I can tell you that before making any decisions, the moderator or senior officials hold many discussions in that management office, and then bring forward more mature opinions to the Forum Affairs Discussion Area to see what ordinary members think. If there are many differing opinions, further discussions take place in the management office. It can be said that the opinions of ordinary members are definitely taken into account before any decision is made. I’m just an ordinary moderator, and I’ve seen how this process works. I know your intentions are very good; I’m just explaining here that this is how the management thinks and acts, with even more detailed considerations in some aspects. Finally, I’d like to share my simple views on “first” and “forever”. I believe HaiChuan’s goal isn’t to become the “number one chemical forum”, but rather to provide an increasingly excellent platform for communication and sharing through everyone’s joint efforts. Here, people can communicate freely and equally and solve problems together. We also keep learning from other forums and cooperating with them, and I believe there will be more such collaborations in the future. As a platform that has achieved success to some extent, HaiChuan’s goal is to keep moving forward; all past achievements have been left behind by time and become history. What truly stands out isn’t HaiChuan itself, but the spirit of communication among all its members. It’s not the forum that is successful, but the sharing atmosphere we all share together. Thank you for your suggestions, and I hope you’ll continue to participate in discussions and sharing in the future, helping both yourself and others.
