Recently, the heating bulb in my bathroom heater stopped working. After taking it out, I found that it wasn’t much different from a regular incandescent bulb. I would like to ask electrical experts: what is the difference between the heating bulb used in bathroom heaters and regular incandescent bulbs? The bulbs used in bathroom heaters are infrared bulbs, which provide excellent heat transfer; ordinary bulbs are far inferior in this regard.

Based on the installation method, it is divided into ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted types. 3.11.4 Function: Heating – The heating lamp uses a hard quartz bulb that does not explode at high temperatures. It is able to raise the temperature in the bathing area by 23–25°C within 3–5 seconds, without the need for preheating. Lighting: 60W soft glow bulb is used, which can be turned on separately; it provides a gentle yet bright light. Ventilation: A separately controlled, ultra-quiet exhaust fan removes odors and moisture from the bathroom at any time, expelling them outside through an exhaust duct.
The bulb of a shower heater generates more heat, and the glass used for its casing is of higher quality than that of ordinary bulbs, making it safer.
