How to determine the depth of the head surface and the height of the straight edges of the head? What is the correspondence between the two?
The depth of the head’s curved surface is generally 1/4 of the diameter; for diameters of 2000 mm or less, it is 25 mm, and 40 mm for other diameters. All these values are specified in the standards.
All end caps have been standardized; you can look them up using the standards. Standard number: JB/T 4746-2002
All are D/4+h,2000,h =40
JB/T 4746-2002 Flange standards specify this clearly: the usual depth is 1/4 of the diameter
