During use, I find that the measurement results of the vortex flowmeter suddenly become smaller for a few seconds. Is it a problem with the instrument or the process?
Is it caused by unstable flow rate?

Because of its large flux, it is not easy to get jammed and does not require maintenance. Our factory uses many vortex flowmeters. However, during use, we found that vortex flowmeters are more susceptible to pipeline vibration. Even in the shutdown state, they still have a flow display and do not return to zero, causing the cumulative flow rate to be high. In addition, the vortex flowmeter is also affected by the installation position. Although our factory strictly followed the instruction manual for 20 days before and 10 days after installation, it still caused a large deviation. The flow deviation measured by 3 flowmeters in one reaction cycle reached 16%. Originally, we thought it was a problem with the instrument, so we removed it and returned it to the manufacturer for calibration many times. However, the result after calibration was still the same, which was useless.

If it happens frequently, should you consider replacing the transmitter? It is not recommended to use V-cone for measuring hydrogen sulfide, but the backflush effect is okay. .
It's not regular, it just happens occasionally and there's no pattern. This has never happened before.
