Some questions regarding a certain clause in GB50160: In Article 5.1.3 of GB50160, \"Within tank farms for flammable gases, oxidizing gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and flammable liquids, pipes that are not related to these substances should not be installed.\" ” May I ask, 1: What is the definition of “irrelevant” here? 2. Which pipes are irrelevant pipes and which ones are relevant pipes? ? ? I hope to get an explanation from everyone. Thank you!

I think it’s pipelines from other tank areas that have nothing to do with this tank area, or rather some pipelines that use roads. The fire protection and oily wastewater pipelines in this tank farm are an exception, as this is exactly the case for the liquid hydrocarbon tank farms I have designed
The “irrelevant pipes” mentioned here, I believe, refer to pipes that pass by merely along the road.
For example, there are two tank areas, both containing refined oil, and the same pipeline is used (with four inlets and four outlets); this pipeline passes through one of the tank areas. Is such a pipeline considered an unrelated pipeline? Should the pipelines in these two tank areas be routed separately? As a supplementary note: these two tank areas share the same pump house.
I agree with the view from the 3rd floor; things that are unrelated should be those that have no direct connection to that tank assembly, for example, diesel pipelines should not pass through gasoline tank assemblies. The three types of pipes mentioned on the 2nd floor are still related to that tank assembly to some extent.
Simply put, any pipes that do not need to enter the tank area are irrelevant.
In my opinion, aside from the processes and fire protection systems in this tank area, all other pipelines are irrelevant! ! ! ! ! In other words, try to avoid other processes or utility pipelines, etc.! ! ! ! :handshake :victory:
It should mean that, aside from the pipelines necessary for normal operation, nothing else should be present.
The relevant pipelines should be those connected to the oil tanks in that tank farm, mainly including the process pipelines, fire water pipes, foam pipeline systems, and sewage pipelines of that tank farm
The situation described by the original poster should be allowed. What is not allowed refers to those that have no connection to this tank farm in terms of process.
