The process patents for several large petrochemical projects I have come across were all introduced by domestic engineering companies from process patents of foreign engineering companies. Domestic design only covers the structure of the equipment, pipelines, and auxiliary facilities such as utility systems. Don’t domestic design institutes possess the core process technologies?
