How to check a DN50 vortex flow meter that shows no flow rate?
First, check whether the power supply is functioning properly; use the bypass valve to make adjustments and see if there is any change. If there is, then there is a problem with the control valve. If there is still no change, you can replace it with a transmitter of the same model; if there is a change, then it is due to a broken transmission line.
First, check whether the vortex street is installed in the wrong direction, as there is a direction requirement. Also check the DC 24V power supply to ensure the wires are not connected in reverse and that the terminals are properly connected. If everything is fine, the parameters in the device can be reset.
Check the power cable for issues, to see if the transmitter is receiving power； If there is a power supply, check whether the positive and negative terminals are connected correctly ； If everything is correct, tap on the pipe connecting the vortex flow meter; the transmitter should produce an output in normal conditions, otherwise there is a problem with the transmitter.
