However, since the temperature and pressure are relatively mild, it is possible to use less expensive inner liners. Solid materials enter from the bottom and are carried in by inert gas; steam can be fed from the middle or lower part, while the product is collected from the top.
Use a fluidized bed; as for environments with high acidity, alkalinity, and high temperatures, choose Hastelloy material. It should be solvable.
The reactor must be selected based on the reaction kinetics equation.
A fluidized bed can be used; if steam is involved in the reaction, it should be introduced from the bottom, and careful consideration must be given to the distributor. Solid material can be fed onto the distributor, with the product being collected from the upper part. 316L can be used for the material. If the vapor does not participate in the reaction and only serves to provide heat, a tubular reactor can be used.
The reactor is not a simple matter of selection. Based on your description, a fluidized bed is suitable; it’s just a matter of the material. What was your reaction? What reacts with water vapor to produce acids and bases?
