The cables are buried in 3/4-inch galvanized steel pipes; then 5 of these pipes are combined together to form a 4-inch protective pipe that safeguards the 5 cables. It is specified that a transition box with five inlets and one outlet should be added in the middle, with dimensions of 3/4”–4”. I guess no one has ever used this thing before, and I’ve never seen anything like it. If the cable is an armored buried cable, a protective conduit may not be necessary; only a protective steel pipe is required when it crosses roads. I suggest building a protective transition channel using bricks and cement to connect all the pipes.
I agree with the view expressed on the second floor; construction and inspection should be carried out strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications for cable installations. Generally, armored cables should be used for cables running underground, and such cables must be laid inside galvanized protective pipes when passing through underground areas. Sand should be placed on both sides of the cables, with bricks placed on top; the width of the area covered by the bricks should exceed the outer diameter of the cables by 50 mm on each side.

What the poster is referring to is probably the junction box. Connection boxes are generally used for connecting pneumatic instruments; nowadays, electric instruments are used, so connection boxes are hardly needed anymore. It is recommended that the poster install a junction box on the ground, connect the five cables to this junction box respectively, then run a multi-core cable from the junction box, and bury this multi-core cable underground to the destination. A method not recommended: use multiple Y-connectors to convert it into one multiple times.
A junction box can be used; the terminal block inside it can be removed so that the cable can pass through directly.
None of you have understood what the original poster meant. What they want is for 5 thin steel pipes to be combined into 1 thick pipe. Hehe, I’ve never seen such a thing before, but since it’s underground, all that’s needed is to ensure proper sealing at the joints; there’s no need for any junction boxes or anything like that.
