1. Why should we hire you? Some interviews have only this one question. 2. What do you think is your greatest weakness? Under no circumstances should one cleverly reply with \"My biggest flaw is my pursuit of perfection.\" Some people think that such a response makes them seem better, but in reality, it puts them in serious trouble. 3. What is your favorite university course? Why? Talk about the courses related to the position you are applying for; it’s not a bad idea to show your enthusiasm. 4. What is your least favorite university course? Why? "I have to say it’s a required course in our university; although I know they’re just going through the motions, the atmosphere in class is extremely dull – both teachers and students just want to get through this semester. 5. Who was your favorite teacher in college? My answer has always been (and indeed it is true): the professor who taught us advertising and marketing could bring vitality to the classroom. By using examples, students are able to integrate knowledge with reality rather than just studying textbooks mechanically; I think this is what I have gained the most from him. 6. What can you bring to our company? If you can, try telling them that you can reduce their costs–“I’ve received training in Microsoft Access and Word, and I can start working right away.” (They might think: Training for Access costs $540 and training for Word costs $445; this guy could save us $1,000 in training costs.) ) 7. What are the three words that best describe you? The three words I often use are: strong adaptability, a sense of responsibility, and perseverance in carrying out tasks. I explain these concepts with specific examples to the examiners, so that they see your potential for growth. 8. Why are you applying for this job? "I am applying because I believe I can contribute to the company. My experience in this field is unmatched by many, and my adaptability gives me confidence that I can raise the level of performance in my responsibilities. " 9. What’s your opinion on working overtime? Be as honest as possible–if you say “yes” when you actually don’t want to, you will be under constant scrutiny. 10. What do you know about our company? Tell a few things you know, at least one of which should be something like \"the sales amount is so and so.\" 11. How did you find out that we are hiring for this position? If you obtained the information from someone within the company, remember to mention their name; just because the company doesn’t claim to favor internal relationships doesn’t mean such favoritism doesn’t exist. 12. Besides salary, what other benefits attract you the most? Be as honest as possible; if you’ve done your homework, you’ll know what they will offer, and try to answer in a way that matches what they provide. If you feel you deserve more, you can ask for a bit more. 13. What amateur activities have you participated in? Since it’s best to give the impression that you are resourceful in handling matters, it’s advisable to highlight those activities that require teamwork and leadership. 14. Have you participated in volunteer activities? Start doing some voluntary work now – not only activities that contribute to society, but also those that your employer will value; if they don’t already have an employee like you, then you will be a great public relations asset. 15.
