Find the Equipment Center

In many cases, it is necessary to mark the center of gravity on the equipment to facilitate lifting at the site. Some equipment drawings show the center of gravity marked, but others do not. I would like to ask everyone: if the center of gravity is not marked on the drawing, how do you usually determine it? How is it calculated specifically? There are examples that illustrate better solutions; please keep it as simple as possible. Everyone is encouraged to engage in active discussions – it’s still useful!
Have the manufacturer provide it, but what they provide may not be accurate either, as it’s sometimes given arbitrarily; generally, it’s considered to be the geometric center. This post was last edited by jyszyx on 2009-4-2 10:44]
