The company uses many heat exchange devices, and it’s hard to tell them apart. How are heat exchangers classified?
There are many classifications of heat exchangers. 1. Classification by heat transfer method； 2. Classification by purpose of use ； 3. Classification by material used ； 4. Classification by heat transfer surface structure. I don’t know which one you mean, so I can’t answer. Classification of heat exchangers: I. Based on their purpose, heat exchangers can be divided into heaters, coolers, condensers, evaporators, fractionators, and reboilers, among others. II. Based on the heat transfer principles of heat exchangers, they can be classified into: mixed-flow heat exchangers, regenerative heat exchangers, and shell-and-tube heat exchangers. III. Based on the materials used in heat exchangers, they can be classified into metal material heat exchangers and non-metal material heat exchangers.
The classification isn’t important; what matters is your understanding of the device.
