For general manufacturers of flammable and explosive hazardous chemicals, vehicles that are not special-type vehicles are required to be equipped with flame arrestors when entering the factory; our company is no exception. A vehicle flame arrester is essentially a short tube into which some wire mesh is inserted to prevent sparks from escaping directly from the exhaust pipe.
The flame arrestors used in explosion-proof areas certainly cannot be chosen as casually as mentioned above!
The principle of flame arresters is the same: the flame passes through a narrow space formed by a metal mesh, and dies out as heat is lost.
