Method for coding magnetic flap level gauge models

My unit is equipped with a magnetic float level gauge of the model UHC1.6-AE1700-RF-133-1. What do the model codes for each part of it mean? Also, do magnetic flap level gauges and magnetic float level gauges refer to the same thing? This post was last edited by GUANGWEI8.26 on 2009-4-1 21:09.]
1.6MPA, column-turning box length 1700mm
The model will be the same for every manufacturer; it’s best to find a sample. Probably, UHC is the manufacturer’s code; 1.6MPa refers to the pressure level; A indicates vertical display of alarms, while E denotes intrinsically safe design. 1700 represents the flange center distance. The numbers that follow may indicate the measurement range or the density of the medium – that’s all we can infer

Each manufacturer uses different models; UHC refers to the type of level gauge, 1.6 denotes the pressure, 1700 indicates the flange spacing, RF stands for the flange sealing surface, and the numbers that follow may represent information such as temperature, density, or whether remote transmission is available
