In our facility, the superheated steam used in the paraffin stripping tower is heated to around 240 degrees by a furnace; the pressure is controlled at 0.3 MPa, the pressure at the top of the tower is kept at 0.05 MPa, and the temperature at the top of the tower is regulated around 150 degrees. Oil and gas coming from the top of the tower often contain wax. I’m not sure what effective measures can be taken to prevent excessive wax from accumulating there. Should a dehumidification tank be installed for the superheated steam? Thank you

Superheated steam shouldn’t need a dehumidification tank! Excessive wax on the tower top may be caused by an excessive blowing volume.
Superheated steam does not require a dehumidification tank; Excessive wax on the top of the tower indicates that the steam injection volume is too high; reduce the steam injection volume appropriately and increase the reflux volume.
240 degrees Celsius should correspond to saturated steam, while 310 degrees Celsius indicates superheated steam. Could it be that the gas at the bottom of the tower contains water vapor? It’s also possible that the temperature at the top of the tower is high, the pressure at the top is low, and the temperature at the bottom of the tower is high

Superheated steam does not require a dehumidifier; if water is present, it’s sufficient to check the vent. 1. The tower pressure can be increased, which can reduce the draw amount! 2. Reducing the amount of stripping steam can also reduce the withdrawal volume! 3. Increase the circulation flow rate at the tower top! 4. Reduce the tower feed temperature! Further increase the steam temperature, top temperature, and top pressure of the tower.
