The question is as titled. Also: How can 2D plane line segments be merged into one? ? ?
The offset command – isn’t it convenient for drawing parallel lines? Additionally: in orthogonal mode, using the copy or array commands for horizontal or vertical lines is also a good option. Second question: Try using the pedit command.
Additional note: Two simple methods for drawing parallel lines have already been explained by 2L. Merge segments is done using Pedit, with the shortcut key PE; if it’s not a PL line, it will ask whether to convert it into a polyline, with Y being the default choice. Then M, multiple selection; after that, check the hints – there is merging
A parallel line to a segment: use COMMAND O, enter the distance, and then you can draw multiple lines. How to combine lines in a 2D plane into one line: PEDIT -> M -> Y -> J -> enter the distance, press ENTER; this will result in one line.
To draw a parallel line, use offset; for multiple lines, use an array. For the second one, use the “pedit” command
Offset works for any angle, and merging line segments can be accomplished using the polyline command.
