First, get familiar with the hardware and understand the functional blocks of each controller, then find some simulation software and use examples as references to learn
First, understand various hardware components such as FCUs, power supplies, modules, and NODEs; then learn about the network structure; after that, focus on software installation; and finally, study the settings and configuration of each module. It’s advisable to consult their training materials as well.
I have a pretty good understanding of the hardware; the key part is software configuration. Could you explain that in more detail?

Based on the modules commonly used in engineering, one can learn the more frequently used control calculation modules. Next, learn the *logic module.
There are Yokogawa’s IM materials on the forum; go and read those.
Most importantly, I think it’s necessary to do more and practice more*; by working on configurations with those who are more experienced, one can learn quickly.
I think it’s still necessary to have projects to work on; just by looking at materials, it’s hard to learn well
