I heard that for the professional title foreign language test, there is a requirement of 3 years for level B, while there is no time limit for level A. Is that the case? If so, then just getting an A level would solve the problem once and for all! The provincial exam is held every 3 years! Is this okay?
I’ve asked, and it should be the same across the country. First of all, the score from the professional English test can only be used once. In other words, it was used once for the intermediate level assessment, and one has to take the exam again for the advanced level, regardless of the grade obtained initially. Secondly: For the professional foreign language test at level B, as long as one passes the **threshold (60 points), it remains valid until the intermediate professional title is awarded ； If the score is below 60 (provided that the provincial threshold is met), it is valid for professional title evaluation in that year. Conclusion: If you need to obtain an intermediate level qualification, you only need to take the Level B exam for professional English. The requirement for proficiency in a foreign language at level B for professional titles is 3 years; the score obtained in one examination can only be used once. The same 3-year requirement probably applies to level A for engineers or senior engineers, and I’ve never heard of any situation where such qualifications are valid indefinitely
