Which grade of stainless steel is good for conveyor screws?

The conveyor screws are made of wear-resistant stainless steel; currently, 304 is being used, but it wears down to the point of looking like a blade after just two or three months. That’s the type that everyone uses. .

What material is used for transportation? In terms of wear resistance, 304 is inferior to Q245R; if cost is not a concern, composite sheets could be considered!
Martensitic stainless steels have better wear resistance than austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, as they possess higher hardness and a higher carbon content. 4Cr13 steel has good machinability. After heat treatment (quenching and tempering), it exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, polishing properties, as well as high strength and wear resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing plastic molds that are subject to high loads and high wear conditions, as well as molds for transparent plastic products, in environments with corrosive agents.
