I would like to ask all fellow internet professionals: when bidding for traffic quotas, do you put all types of quotas together in one bid?
Let me explain the classifications here: 1. Flow meters: electromagnetic, vortex, mass, rotor types, etc. 2. Temperature and level sensors: thermocouples, thermal resistors, bimetallic elements, steel strip sensors, level switches, etc. 3. Transmitters: level, pressure, flow, temperature transmitters, etc. 4. Online analysis instruments: pH meters, concentration meters, etc. 5. Pressure gauges: Bourdon tube, diaphragm pressure gauges, etc. 6. Shut-off valves (classified in more detail based on the manufacturer). 7. Control valves (classified in more detail based on the manufacturer)
Generally, it’s not possible; even for throttle devices, multiple contracts should be used, as after all, there aren’t many manufacturers that can dominate the market!

It is recommended to conduct separate tenders, which can be done by category. Such as: electromagnetic, vortex street, rotor, throttle device, ultrasonic, etc.
Each manufacturer may have different technical capabilities for each flow rate, and users need to purchase the product with the best cost-performance ratio! Therefore, it is necessary to issue separate tenders for each type of flow meter; this is what is best for the users

The key is to decide whether to conduct separate tenders based on the flow meter design type specified by the design institute
It is recommended to issue tenders separately according to the type of flow meter; if the number is very small, they can be combined with those in larger quantities, and those that are technically more reliable can be grouped together.

There aren’t many types of flow meters I need; some require just one unit, while others need two or three. If tenders are issued separately for each type, bidders probably won’t be interested, right? Also, what does it mean that the throttle devices mentioned on the third floor are divided into several contracts? How should we respond to that? The throttle device can be produced by the same manufacturer; why then use multiple contracts?
Why doesn’t anyone tell me how to do this?
That’s probably what it means – those who make orifice plates may not necessarily be able to make wedge-shaped or Annubar types as well. There are also instrument manufacturers that can produce integrated ones. Before issuing the tender, it is possible to visit the manufacturers; each one has its own flagship brand, and it is advisable to consider their performance record.
Our family can do it, and generally any manufacturer can do it as well; don’t worry, there’s no problem in sourcing the flow meters together
Should the differential pressure transmitter for the orifice plate be placed together with the pressure transducer, or should it be placed alongside these flow meters?
