Introduce and install catalyst hold back blinds for drop out pipes. What kind of blind plate is this hold back blind?

The on-site engineer said it was a check blind flange
Check valve blind plate – the poster didn’t provide any context. I think a check blind flange should be installed on the catalyst discharge pipe; it’s essentially a gate used to control the discharge rate. I’m not sure if I understand correctly; this is for reference only.
