What should be the distance between Class A chemical processing units and separate unit circulating water systems? Which clause of the fire protection regulations for petrochemical enterprises should be followed? ? Please help me out.....
It depends on the importance of the circulating water. In some installations, the circulating water is quite important; for example, its supply must not be interrupted during the production process, so it sometimes needs to be treated as a vital facility for the entire plant. If such a situation does not exist, then it may be necessary to refer to the building codes, as there are no specific regulations regarding this in the industrial codes. Of course, if the circulating water system is not explosion-proof, it should at least be located outside of explosion-proof areas.
