Our facility has an air separation unit; the molecular sieve has been flooded with water. 1. When water enters the molecular sieve, enable bottom backflow drainage; if detected in time, cut off the gas supply to the tower system, allow the molecular sieve to clear itself through a shortened process, and appropriately shorten its usage cycle to maintain the temperature of the heating gas. The air-cooling tower experiences excessive resistance, resulting in liquid suspension; the air compressor is discharged and then manually reset, which in turn affects the molecular sieve and causes water to enter the air separation tower. Use recycled feed water that has not been contaminated by water; the inlet temperature is 300 degrees and the outlet temperature is 200 degrees. For the plate heat exchanger, perform reverse blowing at a temperature above zero, and then proceed with normal heating to achieve a temperature of over -40 degrees (dew point). If water enters, there must be a problem with the air-cooled tower; in such cases, drying it immediately with hot nitrogen can generally help maintain its original performance.

A mechanical vacuum pump and a vacuum buffer tank are used to receive the molecular sieve material. A pipeline is connected between the vacuum pump and the buffer tank; a hose is attached to the buffer tank and extends toward the molecular sieve filler. The pump is started to draw in air, and when the buffer tank is 2/3 full, the vacuum is turned off and air is allowed in. Then, the material in the molecular sieve is discharged by opening the lower part of the buffer tank. The vacuum pump can be chosen arbitrarily as long as it has a power of around 3 kilowatts; the buffer tank is approximately one cubic meter in size.
