China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, Document No. 020 issued in 2009: Notice on Convening the “2009 China International Nitrogen Fertilizer and Methanol Conference”. To all relevant manufacturing enterprises, engineering companies, universities, research institutions, and distributors of related products: In 2008, Chinese nitrogen fertilizer manufacturers produced 50.49 million tons of ammonia and 36.38 million tons of nitrogen fertilizers (in terms of pure N); among these, 4.36 million tons of urea were exported； Nitrogen fertilizer and methanol enterprises produced 12.85 million tons of methanol. China ranks first in the world in both nitrogen fertilizer and methanol production, making significant contributions to agricultural and industrial development. To promote the technical and market development of synthetic ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, methanol, and related products, and to provide a platform for communication and cooperation among domestic and foreign manufacturers, research institutions, patent technology companies, and chemical engineering firms. The China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association has scheduled the \"2009 China International Nitrogen Fertilizer and Methanol Conference\" to be held in Shanghai on May 26, 2009. The relevant details of the conference are notified as follows: 1. Theme of the conference: Exchanging new technologies, promoting new development, and creating new advantages. 2. Content of the conference: 1) Policy orientations and analysis reports related to nitrogen fertilizer and methanol production ； 2. International and domestic market conditions and analysis reports for synthetic ammonia, methanol, nitrogen fertilizers, and compound fertilizers ； 3. Exchange and exhibition of achievements in new processes, technologies, and equipment for the production of synthetic ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, methanol, and their downstream products, both domestically and internationally ； 4. Schedule: Conference: May 25: Registration ； May 26: General Assembly ； May 27: Session A: Technical Thematic Discussions; Session B: Market Thematic Discussions. The exhibitions will be set up on May 25 and dismantled on May 28 at 18:00. (The China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association’s industry meeting and board meeting will be held on May 28–29.) VI. Registration fee (excluding accommodation cost): (1) Member organizations: 2,800 yuan per person; 2,500 yuan per person for groups of 3 or more. (2) Non-member organizations: 3,500 yuan per person; 3,150 yuan per person for groups of 3 or more. 2. Organizations that provide technical and product services but do not participate in the exhibitions must pay an additional information service fee of 2,500 yuan per organization ； 3. Accommodation: The conference will arrange accommodation at the International Hotel of Shanghai World Expo Center, at the participant’s own expense.
