The textbook states that the impellers of centrifugal pumps are divided into closed impellers, semi-open impellers, and double-inlet impellers. Is a double-inlet impeller what we commonly refer to as an open impeller?

Impellers can be classified by mechanical structure into forward-curved, backward-curved, and radial types. They can be classified by suction method: single-suction type and double-suction type. It can be classified by form into: open, closed, and semi-open (closed).

There are mainly 4 types of centrifugal pump impellers: (a) closed-type; (b) Open at the front half ; (c) Back half open ; (d) Open type 1—Impeller ; 2—Rear cover ; 3—Hub ; 4—Front cover plate ; 5—Impeller seal ring ; 6—Reinforcement strip (1) Closed impeller: Composed of blades and front and rear cover plates. Closed impellers have higher efficiency but are more difficult to manufacture; they are most commonly used in centrifugal pumps. Suitable for transporting clean liquids with low viscosity, such as plain water and solutions, that are free of particles. (2) Semi-open impellers–There are generally two types of structures. One is the front semi-open type, which consists of a rear cover plate and blades; this type of impeller has lower efficiency, and an adjustable-gap sealing ring is required to improve efficiency. The other type is the rear semi-open type, which consists of a front cover plate and blades. Since the same sealing rings as those used in closed impellers can be applied, its efficiency is essentially the same as that of closed impellers. In addition to transporting liquid, the blades also serve a sealing function (as back blades or auxiliary impellers). Semi-open impellers are suitable for transporting liquids containing suspended solids, fibers, and other particles. Semi-open impellers are relatively easy to manufacture, have lower costs, and exhibit good adaptability. In recent years, their use in centrifugal pumps for the oil refining and chemical industries has been increasing, and they are also used for transporting clean water and liquids similar to clean water. (3) Open impeller – an impeller that consists only of blades and blade reinforcements, without any front or rear covers (open impellers have 2–5 blades). The impeller has low efficiency and is used less frequently; it is mainly employed for transporting liquids with high viscosity as well as slurry-like liquids. The blades of a centrifugal pump impeller are generally backward-curving blades. The blades come in cylindrical and twisted shapes; the use of twisted blades can reduce the load on the blades, improve the suction performance of the centrifugal pump, and enhance its resistance to cavitation. However, they are more difficult to manufacture and come at a higher cost. Centrifugal pumps used in the petroleum refining and chemical industries require impellers that are either cast or fully welded monolithic impellers. Welded impellers have been developed in recent years and are mostly used in special chemical centrifugal pumps manufactured from metal materials with poor castability, such as iron and its alloys. The geometric accuracy and surface finish of welded impellers are superior to those of cast impellers, which helps to improve the efficiency of centrifugal pumps.
What are the model and specifications of that impeller? What does 700F5L mean? I saw it in some documentation related to a Shengyu compressor
