Are there any fire distance requirements between the pumps in the tank farm and the roads in the factory area? If so, how far? Thanks
Why not? The fire protection distances in chemical industry design are now generally referred to the "Fire Protection Code for Building Design"
"Code for Design of Fire Protection for Petrochemical Enterprises" Table 3.2.11 The distance between the fire protection distance of the general layout of the railway line (center line), the raw material and product transportation road (roadside) and the Class A and B pumps or pump rooms in the tank area (including lead adding and additive facilities and their dedicated power transformation and distribution rooms) is 10 meters.
It should be built according to Category A, with main roads 10m and secondary roads 5m
